Job Description
1. Oversee the implementation of procurement operations and prepare purchase orders to ensure the receipt of required items in supply orders on time for the requesting management to comply with the ISO timeframe and to cover emergency needs, applying studied scientific and technical materials.
2. Daily monitor all incoming purchase requests for the management until the needs of all departments dealt with are met on time, avoiding delays in purchase requests beyond the specified period by the management for executing the purchase order.
3. Establish a strong, extensive, and diverse supplier base for each category and continuously update it to identify new suppliers, agencies, and distributors periodically to negotiate effectively, in addition to diversifying the supply and providing alternatives at lower costs.
4. Ensure the improvement of supplier performance in terms of product quality and delivery times to obtain the best quality at an appropriate price within the required timeframe to prevent production disruptions and ensure sourcing products from reliable sources rather than untrustworthy ones
5. Negotiate to improve payment terms with suppliers to ensure not exceeding the budget set by management.
6. Strive to improve product cost by accessing the best prices in the market to minimize the final product cost, leading to increased profits.
7. Provide technical support and specifications for spare parts and provide new information about them to ensure technical compliance for speedy delivery.
8. Commit to implementing procurement policies and systems in line with ISO standards to attract new suppliers so that the procurement system followed in the procurement is uniform for all department personnel.
9. Submit periodic reports to the department head and inform them of completed tasks, in addition to notify them of problems and obstacles encountered for prompt resolution.
Job Requirements
. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
· Excellent Proficiency in using all MS Office Package.
· Excellent command of English.
· Practical skills in implementing procurement plans.
· Supplier evaluation skills.
· Skills in preparing procurement reports.
· High negotiation skills.
· Location: SODIC + Transportation (Company Bus).
