Job Description
- Develop and implement merchandising strategies based on seasonal trends, customer behavior, and sales data.
- Ensure optimal product placement and in-store or online presentation to drive sales and profitability.
- Collaborate with buyers and planners to determine product assortment and inventory levels.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid overstock or stockouts.
- Analyze sales performance and adjust merchandising plans accordingly.
- Conduct regular store visits or website audits to ensure visual standards and planogram compliance.
- Liaise with suppliers and logistics teams for product delivery and quality control.
- Prepare reports on sales trends, inventory metrics, and promotional performance.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in merchandising, retail, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and an eye for design and layout.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software.
- Knowledge of current market trends and consumer behavior.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field preferred.
