Social Media Operations Specialist
Job Summary
As a Social Media Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our brand's positive reputation on social media platforms. Through creative content and engaging activities, you will manage our private user communities and generate high-quality referral leads from them.
Key Responsibilities
Community Management: Build and manage private communities for our users in Saudi Arabia (e.g., on WhatsApp), planning and executing community events to boost engagement, foster a sense of belonging, and drive referrals.
Word-of-Mouth Marketing: Monitor brand reputation on major social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) and amplify positive word-of-mouth through proactive engagement and content distribution.
Content Creation & Distribution: Create and distribute compelling content (e.g., user success stories, educational tips, event posters) that resonates with the local culture and target audience to attract potential users and encourage sharing.
Lead Generation: Design and execute viral campaigns or marketing activities on social media to acquire high-quality user leads in a cost-effective manner.
Job Requirements
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in social media or community management, with a deep understanding of the social media landscape in the Middle East.
Excellent creative planning and content creation skills; familiar with various community engagement tactics.
Results-oriented, with the ability to link social media activities directly to business growth objectives (lead generation).
Fluent in English with excellent user communication skills. Experience in the EdTech industry or proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
