Job Description

  • Showroom responsible juggle sales and managerial responsibilities to help the showroom unit exceed sales goals daily.
  • Ensure Showroom is Kept to Company Visual Standards
  • When selling high-ticket items, aesthetics are vital. Each product on the sales floor must be meticulously arranged to conform with company visual standards. This includes assign cleaning task for floor models daily, a task showroom managers delegate to concerned associates.
  • Maintain Product Knowledge
  • Showroom responsible knows his products better than anyone on the floor. He must excel product knowledge and be expert. This includes learning about new products as they arrive.
  • Training & Development
  • Being able to train and develop others is important. Showroom responsible teaches new employees (where applicable) about each product with the ability to make full product live demonstration to walk-in and corporate customers when visiting on special occasions.
  • Negotiate Deals with Customers
  • Responsible for closing own deals and handle difficult customers as and when needed. Use strong product knowledge and familiarity with the company’s marketing department promotion policies to do what it takes to get the deal done.
  • Monitor Store’s Key Performance Indicators
  • Showroom responsible keeps a close eye on which items are selling the best and its constant availability. This requires to maintain a forecast of products and take care of the demand and planning part with logistics. Also, keep an eye on which items have been collecting dust on the salesroom floor and take the necessary action

Job Requirements

  • Showroom responsible shall possess a passion for the products he sells and behaves in a way that infects customers, visitors and colleagues with this same passion.
  • Sales technique – technical sales strategies for building rapport, identifying customer needs, and closing deals are important tools for showroom responsible
  • Managing situations – it includes the ability to listen to customers & colleagues’ feedback and reach a common win-win ground
  • Product expertise – showroom responsible is expert on all the technical features and benefits of each product they sell and most important on the application/solution that the tool is providing to help the customers’ real need (selling the right product for the right application)
  • Negotiation skills –putting together deals favorable to both parties (company/customer)
  • Communication skills – good communication keeps all parties on the same page, which keeps customers happy and the sales floor looking good

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferred) or business administration. 1-2years experience
