Job Description

The Secretary at Glow Dent Dental Clinic plays a key role in creating a smooth and professional patient experience. This role involves managing the front desk, handling administrative tasks, supporting insurance claims processes, and ensuring efficient communication between patients and clinic staff.
 

  • Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
  • Schedule and confirm appointments using the clinic’s system
  • Handle phone calls, messages, and patient inquiries efficiently
  • Manage patient files and ensure all records are up to date
  • Process and follow up on insurance paperwork and claims
  • Coordinate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
  • Collect payments and issue receipts
  • Use Microsoft Office and clinic software for administrative tasks
  • Assist in preparing daily reports and patient summaries

 

 


 


 

Job Requirements


 

  • Previous experience in a dental clinic is mandatory
  • Good command of the English language
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a high volume of patients
  • Knowledge of insurance procedures and paperwork
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
