Summary:
We're looking for a proactive finance leader to manage complex tax issues (UAE, USA, KSA, Hong Kong) and drive process improvements. This hands-on role offers autonomy in transforming finance operations while working closely with the Finance Manager and executive team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of all corporate tax matters (UAE mandatory; USA, KSA, Hong Kong a plus): compliance, planning, advisory, and risk management.
- Lead process improvement and transformation initiatives within the finance department: map, analyze, and optimize workflows, controls, and data integrity.
- Act as an internal consultant and change agent: proactively identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and risks, and implement practical solutions.
- Collaborate closely with the Finance Manager: provide expertise, support, and relief on technical and process-heavy tasks, enabling him to focus on trusted operational duties.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement: train, mentor, and upskill finance team members on new processes and best practices.
- Work cross-functionally with operations, IT, and external advisors to ensure seamless finance operations and compliance.
- Respond rapidly to business needs: act on spot to resolve urgent issues, support new initiatives, and ensure finance is an enabler, not a bottleneck.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CTA, etc.) preferred.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in finance, with a strong track record in both corporate taxation (UAE required) and process improvement/finance transformation.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change, implement new processes, and solve problems independently.
- Experience in multi-entity, multi-region environments; exposure to USA, KSA, Hong Kong tax is a plus.
- Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
- Proactive, hands-on, and business-oriented mindset.
- Fluent in English & Arabic is a plus.
