Job Description
- Develop and implement costing systems and procedures aligned with the company’s operations in the dairy & food industry.
- Monitor actual production costs and perform variance analysis between standard and actual costs.
- Control costs of raw materials, direct labor, and manufacturing overheads.
- Prepare periodic costing reports covering product cost, profit margins, and operational expenses to support management decision-making.
- Supervise the monthly closing of cost accounts ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Warehousing, and Sales departments to ensure effective cost control and reporting.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and cost forecasts, and contribute to cost reduction initiatives.
- Lead, supervise, and develop the costing team, ensuring effective task allocation and performance monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and tax regulations.
- Support the Finance Manager and top management with detailed cost analysis and recommendations for improving profitability.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in the food manufacturing/FMCG industry.
- Strong knowledge of costing methodologies, ERP systems, and Excel/financial analysis tools.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
- Fluency in English
