Job Description
- Develop and implement production plans to meet customer demands.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of raw materials.
- Analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production schedules.
- Conduct regular assessments of supplier performance and quality assurance.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives in production processes.
- Prepare and present production reports to senior management.
- Manage and forecast demand planning to align with market trends.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in production.
- Optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
- Lead and mentor junior planning staff.
- Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.
- Participate in budget preparation and cost management.
- Facilitate training sessions on best practices in production planning.
- Utilize ERP systems for tracking production and inventory.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Conduct root cause analysis for production delays or quality issues.
- Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
- Collaborate with marketing to align production with promotional activities.
Job Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Demand Planner or a similar role for 4-5 years' experience in FMCG
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures
- Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge
- Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English / Arabic)
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Demand Planner
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
- Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
