Job Description
Level 1 Transmission Engineer
- E2E communication management with internal & external stakeholders, partners & service providers.
- Responsible for Trouble Ticket Management - Ticket Logging, L1 Analysis, Follow-up till Resolution as per agreed SLA and closure with proper remarks/comments.
- Responsible for the escalation process and takes care that all faults are escalated according to defined procedures
- Responsible for the closure of trouble tickets upon confirmation from Field Operations and Second Line Support
- RCA/Incident Reporting: Generate Incident/RCA Reports considering the Fault Severity and share with agreed communication matrix accordingly.
- Responsible for the detection, interpretation, handling and escalation of received alarms and detected problems.
Job Requirements
Level 1 Transmission / IP Engineers (Qty - 6):-
- 3 - 4 years experience on Noc operation as L1 in IP domain or Transmission domain
- Experience on IP & optical nodes mainly Huawei and Nokia
- Experience in Fault Management – E2E Fault Identification, Analysis, Reporting, Follow-up till Resolution, Reporting, Notification
- Familiar with Change Management Notification/Reporting/Follow-up
- Experience in Reporting Management – Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly/Half-Yearly Reporting as per Customer & Management requirement.
