Job Description
- Lead and supervise the mechanical technical office team to ensure timely and accurate project deliverables.
- Review and approve mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other departments to align technical office activities with project requirements.
- Oversee the preparation of bills of quantities, cost estimates, and procurement requests for mechanical systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and client specifications in all technical submissions.
- Resolve technical issues and provide expert guidance to the team during project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
- Facilitate communication between design, construction, and procurement teams to optimize workflow.
- Conduct regular quality checks and audits on technical office outputs.
- Prepare and present progress reports and technical presentations to senior management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in mechanical technical office roles within construction/contracting companies.
- Proven experience in Design, Shop Drawings, QS, and Invoicing.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards.
- Excellent in AutoCAD, Revit (preferably), Excel, and MS Office.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
