MEP Tender Engineer

Study the project’s documents like drawings, specifications, and schedule, review tender documents and contract to be able to follow up on materials required.

·         Manage associated cost preparation responsibilities.

Manage associated cost preparation responsibilities, (Electrical, HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing) Tender

Coordinate with Planning & financial department in preparing initial time schedule & cash flow taking into consideration any financial expenses.

Obtain factored / sub-supplier costs where necessary.

·         Prepare technical & commercial proposals.

·         Cost breakdown for BOQ items regarding direct & indirect costs.

·         Coordinate with Procurement Department to collect information about market prices for suppliers & subcontractors and equipment's based upon previous executed projects & recent available information, try to get the best committed prices from suitable sources.

·         Attend clarification meetings with Client when required.

·         Preparing quantity survey for items to prepare the bill of quantity for the project

·         Prepare clients invoices for all projects.

·         Prepare the requirements for variation order if needed

·         Preparing the dry cost and scope of the project for the procurement department. 

·         Ensure that tenders meet company commercial guidelines and have the necessary sign off in accordance with the delegation of authority guidelines.

·         Visit site and record information about access, drainage and topography, and availability of services such as water and electricity at tendering stage before the project start.

·         Engaged in the preparation & compilation of the necessary documents, information & technical inputs required for the completion of tender documentation.
