Job Description

At The Box we focus on bringing creativity, joy, and connection into every home through our DIY kits. Our activity boxes are packed with fun, hands-on projects that help children explore, create, and learn—while making special memories with the people they love.

You’ll be the creative engine and strategic thinker behind how we show up online. From designing scroll-stopping content and shooting viral reels to driving paid media campaigns and building a storytelling roadmap – this role blends creativity, strategy, and execution.

Key Responsibilities

1. Multi-Channel Brand Presence

  • Develop and execute .a digital marketing strategy across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and email.
  • Build a consistent, engaging brand voice and visual identity across platforms.

2. Content Creation Strategy

  • Own the monthly content calendar: plan, brief, and manage creation of posts, videos, stories, and blogs.
  • Ideate and lead the creation of trend-driven content, especially short-form video (Reels, TikToks).
  • Work closely with content creators, designers, and editors to bring campaigns to life.

3. Reels & Video Production

  • Conceptualize, shoot, and edit short-form videos that tell the story of our kits in fun, creative ways.
  • Stay on top of social trends and adapt them for our brand.
  • Coordinate with parents, kids, and creators for authentic UGC-style content.

4. Media Buying & Paid Ads

  • Manage paid media strategy and execution (Meta Ads, Google, YouTube, TikTok).
  • Optimize campaigns to drive brand awareness, website traffic, and sales.
  • Test creative performance and iterate quickly based on results.

5. Brand Storytelling

  • Shape our brand story across digital platforms through compelling narratives, product education, and emotional storytelling.
  • Bring out the “why” behind each product and the experience it offers to families.

Job Requirements

 

  • 3–5 years in digital marketing or content marketing roles (ideally in D2C or consumer brands).
  • Strong experience in social media strategy, content production, and storytelling.
  • Hands-on skills in shooting and editing Reels/TikToks (even using mobile).
  • Experience managing paid ad campaigns and analyzing performance data.
