Job Description
- Carefully study the project documents (specifications - quantification - contract - drawings - timetable).
- Preparing Quantity Estimations and Materials Requests.
- Study the specifications, drawings and conditions of the project contract.
- Preparing the full project’s procurement plan.
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors ,especially Project Manager and Technical Office Manager.
- Preparing Material Request for Quotations and Collect Quotations.
- Follow Up with Other Managements for Preparation of Purchase Orders.
- Working on Project Progressive Follow up Log’s ( Material Approval, Purchasing Orders Log And Same).
- Request financial and technical offers for the project's needs.
- Negotiate with suppliers to reach the most appropriate prices.
- Preparing financial and technical comparisons of the nominated suppliers.
- Contracting with the appropriate suppliers to meet the project's needs.
- Preparing payments schedules to suit the project's needs.
- Preparing general reports for quarterly contracts
- Prepare appropriate contractual wording with suppliers.
- Follow Up the payments of the suppliers and subcontractors with the different managements.
Job Requirements
- Experience from 4-6 years in Purchasing
- experience in Construction field.
- Very Good Knowledge of English.
- Strong Communication skills.
- Good Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Project
- High Negotiation Skills.
- High Communication Skills.
