Job Description
- Manage and supervise the operational maintenance and repairs of the property’s facilities and assets.
- Monitor the annual facility management expenditure as per approved budgets using the company’s policies and procedures.
- Update all archived files, data, drawings, correspondences, minutes and all other documents related to the facility management of the properties and assets.
- Keep updated all necessary regulations by the Authorities that might be technically involved with all Facilities and Properties managed by the Company.
- Give recommendations, when necessary, on repairs, renovation and modifications of Facilities and Properties managed by the Company.
- Investigate and implement any source of saving of facility management of the property.
- Keep a good record of all orders and inventory of supplies, spare parts and consumables for the property.
- Monitor and meter the properties utilities consumption and transmit all necessary information to the company for invoices purposes using the company’s procedures.
- Report any incident to the Malls Manager department.
- Liaise with the Company’s other Department Heads when necessary.
- Assist the Company’s Leasing Department on all the architectural and technical information related to the premises.
- Review and supervise the MEP Designs and Shop-Drawings submitted by the Tenants’ Fit-out Contractors and approves materials samples as well.
- Manages all technical information on the MEP Service Provisions related to the Mall’s Retail Spaces and all relevant information that might be needed/requested by the Mall Managers and Fit-out Contractors.
- Prepares MEP Tenants Fit-Out Design Specifications Document.
- Enforces the adoption of energy efficient designs and material selections.
- Attends all site meetings with Mall Managers and Contractors as might be required.
- Sets and insures proper implementation of MEP Commissioning Procedures and Inspects the MEP Installations during the fitting-out process.
- Ensure that the Fit-out works is being conducted following the best Health and Safety practices.
- Select, recruit, organize tenders, supervise the facility management related staff suppliers, and specialized services providers as per the company policies and procedures.
Job Requirements
- 10 years proven record of MEP Design Experience in Reputable Firms.
- Excellent knowledge of energy-efficient design and execution of electromechanical systems.
- Intimate knowledge in KSA Local and International MEP Codes, civil defense and standards.
- Fluency in the English Language, technical report writing and verbal communications skills are a must, spoken and written.
- Leading Character and strong personality, goal-oriented management style; able to work with people at all levels.
- Previous Experience in Fit-Out Projects Design Review & Supervision is a plus.
- Computer literate (Oracle, Microsoft Windows/Office, AutoCAD, etc.…)
- Capability to working with procedures and as per the highest Quality Assurance Requirements.
- Preferably 5 – 7 years in Real Estate projects or retail Shopping Malls Industry and at least 5 - 7 years in Facilities or Maintenance Management role with the similar responsibilities.
