Job Description
- Configure, manage and troubleshoot Informatica domain, nodes, Service Manager, Application Services and licensing.
- Manage backup and recovery of the domain metadata and appropriate shared file directories
- Users/ Groups Creation, Access Management (Privileges and Permissions)
- Perform daily monitoring.
- Work with the vendors (Informatica IGS and others) on software issues.
- Along with these, there is the day to day administration activities folder creation, configuring DB connections, etc.
- Maintaining high availability of Informatica platform..
- A reliable and trustworthy person, able to anticipate and deal with the varying needs and concerns of numerous stakeholders adapting personal style accordingly.
- Adaptable and knowledgeable who is able to learn and improve his skills with existing and new technologies.
Job Requirements
- Experience working on servers located in the Linux environment.
- Strong knowledge in Informatica platform Architecture and back-end process
- Has capabilities to train business user on ETL development
- Good knowledge of Data Warehouse/RDBMS, Big Data querying tools, such as Pig, Hive, and Impala,
- SQL knowledge beneficial
- Experience on Cloud technologies beneficial, like AWS and Azure.
- Ability to participate in 24X7 on-call rotation in the team
- Ability to work independently and effectively communicate within the team and other teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment
