Job Description
- Approach and negotiate with medical insurance companies to establish direct billing agreements for patients.
- Manage and follow up on contracts, renewals, and terms of service with insurance providers.
- Coordinate between the clinic and insurance companies to ensure smooth claims processing and patient coverage.
- Prepare and submit all required documents and files for insurance approvals.
- Stay updated on insurance policies, pricing models, and network lists to expand the clinic’s coverage options.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with insurance companies’ key contacts.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience dealing with medical insurance companies, preferably in a healthcare setting (clinic/hospital/lab).
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with insurance approval processes and claim documentation.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up capabilities.
- Good command of Microsoft Excel and professional correspondence.
