Job Description
- Responsible for ensuring that medication are dispensed accurately and safely to patients, includes reviewing prescriptions for accuracy and completeness, checking for potential drug interactions, and counseling patients on the proper use of their medication.
- Outpatient pharmacists play a critical role in educating patients on the safe and effective use of their medications, includes discussing potential side effects, providing instructions on how to take medications, and answering any questions patients may have.
- Responsible for maintaining accurate records of medication dispensing and patient counseling, includes entering prescription information into computer systems and keeping track of inventory.
- Dispensing Insurance claims for patient and make sure the claim form is accurate.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in pharmacies.
