1. Strategic Planning & Leadership

• Develop the department’s annual strategic plans, programs, and budget in alignment with company goals.
• Conduct SWOT analysis and resource planning, including recruitment, training, and team development.
• Design and implement structured onboarding and knowledge transfer programs for new hires.
• Develop second-line leadership and succession planning for key roles.

2. Technical Support & Product Validation

• Lead the Technical Support team in providing expert solutions to customers and sales teams.
• Oversee product sample applications at customer sites, ensuring technical validation and approval.
• Collaborate with Operations and R&D to support new/modified product launches.
• Ensure all product testing meets internal standards and market specifications.

3. Competitive Analysis & Product Improvement

• Supervise competitive product analysis and work with R&D to propose enhancements.
• Review and update technical documentation (TDS, MSDS) for accuracy and compliance.
• Approve technical content for marketing materials (brochures, catalogs, videos).
• Conduct market research to identify product gaps and opportunities.

4. Training & Development

• Develop and execute technical training programs for sales teams, regional staff, and customers.
• Train commercial teams on competitive product advantages to improve market positioning.

5. Compliance & Operational Excellence

• Ensure application tools and instruments are properly maintained and calibrated.
• Enforce 5S, safety, and KAIZEN practices in technical and application areas.
• Oversee documentation, reporting, and performance tracking of technical support activities.
