Job Description

Call Center Agent with Tourism Experience Needed

Are you passionate about traveling and helping others plan their dream trips? Do you have at least 3 to 5 years of experience in the tourism industry and speak fluent English? Are you a skilled and friendly call center agent who enjoys helping customers plan their trips? Do you have a background in the tourism industry and fluent English skills?

If you are a female between 25 and 35 years old, with at least 3 years of relevant experience, then you might be the ideal candidate for our company!

We are a tourism company located in Giza, Al Dokki, and we are looking for 3 call center agents with tourism experience to join our team. As a call center agent, you will:

  • Answer incoming calls from customers who want to book travel arrangements or inquire about travel-related products
  • Provide information and advice on travel destinations and accommodations
  • Use traveling software (computer reservations systems, GDS systems and e-travel) to book flight and other transportation arrangements as well as lodging and tours
  • Negotiate with vendors of travel-related products to get the best deals
  • Promote and sell holiday and other specialized tour packages
  • Resolve any issues or complaints that may arise during or after the travel
  • Maintain electronic records of clients and transactions
  • Meet the revenue and profit goals
  • Providing information and advice about travel destinations and accommodations
  • Booking flight and other transportation arrangements as well as lodging and tours
  • Communicating with vendors of travel-related products to get the best deals
  • Marketing and selling holiday and other specialized tour packages
  • Handling unforeseen problems and complaints and determining eligibility for money returns
  • Attending conferences to maintain familiarity with tourism trends
  • Creating and updating electronic records of clients
  • Reaching the revenue and profit targets

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or a relevant field
  • Preferably graduated from language or international institutions
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Outstanding sales skills and customer-oriented approach
  • Broad knowledge of various areas of travel (domestic/international, business/holidays, group/individual, etc)
  • Exemplary sales skills and customer-oriented approach
  • Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively
