As Lead Hardware Engineer at PyraPay, you will oversee the design, prototyping, testing, and production of our payment devices. You will collaborate closely with our product, software, and operations teams to develop scalable, cost-effective, and reliable hardware solutions optimized for the Egyptian market.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end hardware development for POS terminals (PCB design, component selection, integration).
• Collaborate with Chinese/OEM suppliers to source and integrate payment modules.
• Ensure hardware compliance with EMV, PCI PTS, and regional certifications.
• Oversee prototyping, testing, and iterations using CAD tools and embedded systems debugging.
• Work with manufacturing partners for pilot production and quality assurance.
• Support integration with Android software and mobile applications.
• Manage technical documentation and version control for hardware designs.
