Job Description
- Providing drawings to support the sales team.
- Designing production doors and other metal products for manufacture, mainly using AutoCAD, though with some SolidWorks.
- Some products can be simple, just requiring modification of an existing design, while others need a lot of intensive design work.
- Investigating problems on the shop floor, finding solutions, or revising parts quickly.
- Providing installation advice to the fitting teams.
- Creating installation and manufacturing instructions.
- Specifying parts for purchasing.
- Research and development.
Job Requirements
- Excellent user of Microsoft office, AutoCAD and SolidWorks competency.
- More than 2 years of experience in a similar field.
- Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
- Prior experience of sheet metal that is an advantage
- Ability to produce creative, practical design solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Good commercial awareness.
