Job Description
- Reviewing data on the costs of the production process and its components, whether raw materials, labor, asset depreciation, energy, rents, etc.
- checking and recording cash purchase invoices.
- Continuous monitoring of purchases to identify the difference in prices, increase or decrease, in order to update the databases.
- Handling the effect of changes in product components on product cost.
- Handling the actual cost of the production process.
- Submitting periodic reports on deviations between the actual and standard costs and how to treat them.
- Maintaining a database (a notebook or on the computer) on the elements of the costs of the production process and keeping it updated.
- Keep records of new capital projects including copies of fixed asset invoices.
- checking bills and cash disbursement documents.
- Evidence and follow-up of temporary and permanent covenants and deduction of employees.
- Handling cost information and maintain an expenditure database.
- Building data accumulation systems for the organization.
- Determine fixed costs.
- Plan and record variable costs.
- Review the standard and actual costs of the institution
- Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual cost forecasts.
- Help with month-end and year-end closings.
- Identify and recommend cost-effective solutions and direct expenditures of the organization
