General Counsel

This is a full-time role as a General Counsel with AW HOLDING Dubai Office. The General Counsel will be responsible for:

• Strong leadership and management skills to effectively lead and mentor the legal team.
• In-depth knowledge of business operations and industry-specific regulations.
• Experience in handling complex legal matters, including mergers and acquisitions, regulatory compliance.
• Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners.
• Develop and implement the company's legal strategy in alignment with business goals.
• Provide legal advice and support to various departments within the organization.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and resolving legal disputes.
• Handle Litigation, arbitration, dispute resolution in GCC and MENA region, Supervise and coordinate the work of external law firms.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the company's operations.
• Manage, supervise, develop and train the team members within the department and other departments, assigning responsibilities.
• Communicate and meet with clients to discuss new cases and ongoing cases.
• Providing regular internal reporting on legal and claims/litigation matters.
