Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated HR Specialist to join our team. The HR Specialist will be responsible for managing various human resources functions within the manufacturing environment. This role requires a strong understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and the ability to support our employees and company culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding, orientation, and training programs.
  • Maintain employee records, including attendance, leaves, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in line with company goals and legal requirements.
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels.
  • Administer employee benefits programs and provide guidance to employees regarding benefits and policies.
  • Coordinate and conduct employee engagement activities and events.
  • Collaborate with management to address staffing needs and workforce planning.
  • Handle HR-related inquiries and provide guidance to employees and management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Specialist or similar role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the HVAC industry.
  • Solid understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Experience with recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
