Job Description
Operational Responsibilities
- Develop and adhere to an annual operational maintenance plan for the facility
- Plan and track all maintenance work and conduct technical presentations to management
- Maintain quality assurance system related to facility maintenance
- Instill good maintenance practices and create mechanism that ensure a safety culture
- Plan and coordinate infrastructure and equipment maintenance schedules and activities
- Monitor facility performance data to establish good control parameters
- Ensure proper facility installations/renovations are being carried out on-site
- Implement solutions and monitor process capability
- Ensure service contracts are integrated into the maintenance schedules and supervise their operation in accordance with business needs
- Investigate root causes of facility failures and lead continuous improvement projects
- Coordinate and oversee contractors performing maintenance activities
Reporting and Budgetary Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit reports and compliance documentation on monthly basis as outlined in the operational plan
- Regularly coordinate activities with Regional Manager regarding the following areas Assets, Facilities, Risk Management
- Adopt new technologies to improve facility system in most efficient and cost-effective manner
- Analyze project costs and develop reflective budgets to be submitted for approval to management
- Negotiate of facility-related service contracts and conduct annual evaluations prior to renewal
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil, architectural, or industrial engineering
- At least 3 years of experience as facilities engineer or in a similar role
- Strong technical background and knowledge of other trades works such as electrical, HVAC, MEP and civil works
- Experience with AutoCAD, SAP, and MS Office
- Knowledge of the building process and construction principles
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and building codes
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Project management skills
- Proficiency in spoken and written English
Preferred
- Minimum TOIEC score of 850 or equivalent
