Job Description
- Lead the identification and assessment of potential risks associated with engineering and construction projects.
- Conduct comprehensive risk analysis, considering various factors such as project scope, site conditions, design complexities, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement risk management plans for individual projects, outlining strategies to mitigate, transfer, or accept identified risks.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate risk management processes into project planning and execution.
- Oversee safety and compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Provide guidance on safety protocols and measures to mitigate health and safety risks.
- Evaluate and recommend appropriate insurance coverage for projects, including builder's risk, liability, and performance bonds.
- Review and analyze contracts to identify and allocate risks effectively.
- Effectively communicate risk-related information to project stakeholders, senior management, and external partners.
- Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and clients to address and resolve risk-related concerns.
- Develop and implement proactive risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of potential risks on project timelines, budgets, and overall success.
- Work closely with project teams to monitor and adjust risk mitigation measures as needed.
- Oversee the claims management process, working closely with legal and insurance professionals to address and resolve claims.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to claims and dispute resolution.
- Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of risk management processes.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement enhancements to the risk management framework.
Job Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
- Professional certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or equivalent.
- 10+ years and above total experience in Risk Management.
