Job Description

  • Lead the identification and assessment of potential risks associated with engineering and construction projects.
  • Conduct comprehensive risk analysis, considering various factors such as project scope, site conditions, design complexities, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement risk management plans for individual projects, outlining strategies to mitigate, transfer, or accept identified risks.
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate risk management processes into project planning and execution.
  • Oversee safety and compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
  • Provide guidance on safety protocols and measures to mitigate health and safety risks.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate insurance coverage for projects, including builder's risk, liability, and performance bonds.
  • Review and analyze contracts to identify and allocate risks effectively.
  • Effectively communicate risk-related information to project stakeholders, senior management, and external partners.
  • Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and clients to address and resolve risk-related concerns.
  • Develop and implement proactive risk mitigation strategies to minimize the impact of potential risks on project timelines, budgets, and overall success.
  • Work closely with project teams to monitor and adjust risk mitigation measures as needed.
  • Oversee the claims management process, working closely with legal and insurance professionals to address and resolve claims.
  • Maintain accurate documentation related to claims and dispute resolution.
  • Conduct regular reviews and evaluations of risk management processes.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and implement enhancements to the risk management framework.

Job Requirements

 

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM) or equivalent.
  • 10+ years and above total experience in Risk Management.
