Job Description

  • Generate and manage purchase orders accurately and efficiently in compliance with procurement policies and guidelines.
  • Assist in the creation and management of procurement agreements, ensuring they are in accordance with sourcing, legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key suppliers.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new vendors, ensuring all necessary documentation and information are accurately collected and recorded.
  • Address and resolve supplier disputes promptly and professionally, working closely with internal teams and suppliers to reach amicable solutions.
  • Assist end-users in resolving any issues or discrepancies related to procurement transactions, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Monitor and track the delivery status of purchase orders, proactively addressing any delays or issues to ensure timely receipt of goods or services.
  • Proactively review and manage contract expirations.
  • Ensure data accuracy and completeness in all procurement reports.
  • Ensure adherence to all procurement policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for supplier inquiries, providing information and assistance related to orders, payments, and contractual obligations.
  • Methodically document all supplier complaints and disputes, capturing essential details and timelines.
  • Initiate and oversee a structured follow-up process, regularly communicating with both internal teams and suppliers to monitor the progress of dispute resolution.
  • Proactively engage with internal stakeholders to understand their concerns, feedback, and expectations regarding the procurement process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance internal stakeholders' satisfaction.

  • Adhere to the company’s HSE policy and work collaboratively to achieve the set objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and safeguard their own safety and health, as well as that of anyone who may be affected by their actions or omissions at work.
  • Refrain from being under the influence of any intoxicating substances to the point where they pose a risk to themselves or others while on the job.
  • Cooperate with their employer concerning safety, health, and welfare in the workplace.
  • Refrain from engaging in any improper behaviour that could jeopardize their own or anyone else's safety or health.
  • Participate in safety and health training provided by their employer.
  • Make appropriate use of all machinery, tools, substances, etc., as well as any Personal Protective Equipment supplied for use at work.

Report any flaws in the workplace, equipment, etc., that could pose a safety or health risk.

Job Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of science degree in Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a large organization 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, with a specialization in Fleet Maintenance and machinery sourcing.

 

Knowledge & Skills

  • High proficiency in Ms. Excel 
  • Proficiency in digital procurement tools and systems, specifically SAP S4/HANA & SAP ARIBA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.

Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
