Job Description
- Constant lookout to update corporate database with approved vendors/materials in conciliation with R&D/QA Department, handling all business stakeholders’ requests for materials, services, and equipment with the optimum cost, at the right time, with the adequate volume, from the right place, and at the right payment terms while keeping an eye peel on corporate controlling measures and business values.
- Sourcing Local/Foreign packaging materials.
- Initiation and follow up of material approval process for new sourced packaging materials.
- Issuing Foreign orders (Raw materials).
- Following up Local orders (Raw materials).
- Approving new raw materials after approval process completion.
- Developing local/foreign sourcing strategies for raw materials.
- Carry out local/foreign negotiations with suppliers on the proposed quotes.
- Following up on new purchase requests on a daily basis through (SAP, Mails, Phone Calls).
- Prepare proposals, request quotes, and negotiate purchase terms and conditions.
- Carry out local/foreign negotiations with suppliers on the proposed quotes (Mails, Phone Calls, Meetings).
- Following up on purchase orders on a daily basis through (SAP, Mails, Phone Calls).
- Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns.
- Preparing cost saving reports on monthly basis.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business administration or any relevant field ( Supply chain degree is preferred).
- 2-4 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement , Preferably Manufacturing background
- SAP experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills.
