Job Description
- Receiving all types of incoming food items and ensuring their conformity and suitability for use.
- Ensure proper storage of any food item upon receipt and proper loading to warehouses with FIFO application.
- Ensure that all food items are displayed properly and correctly on the shelves.
- Make sure to remove any food items that are about to expire.
- Register all suppliers and any supplier with a non-compliance point will not be dealt with.
- Investigating any complaint received from any customer and knowing the reasons leading to it.
- There are no expired materials in the warehouses.
Training the money on health requirements and their application. - Develop a risk analysis plan for all operational steps.
- Reviewing occupational health and safety systems for workers and implementing them in all sectors.
- Quality systems application
- Conduct field visits to all suppliers and ensure the implementation of food safety systems as well as any new supplier.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Agriculture, vet, or a similar degree
- Minimum of 3 years experience in quality control, preferably in Hypermarket.
- Working knowledge of tools, methods and concepts of quality assurance
- Solid knowledge of relevant regulatory standards
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Relevant training or certifications as a Quality Assurance Specialist is a plus
