Job Description
We are searching for a highly driven individual who has a passion and obsession for fashion and is always up to date in all the trends to join our team. We are mainly looking for this individual to take full control of our women's swimwear & resort wear line from concept to end result. You will also be helping out on our men's wear line designing process.
- Managing full design process from conception to final styling for new collections
- Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics, and techniques, and seeking design inspiration.
- Coming up with new ideas for prints/patterns to be used in our collections
- Creating designs using sketches and digital drawing softwares.
- Creating tech packs to be used for production
- Designing and creating garments using pattern making.
- Reviewing product for style and fit during sampling process and communicating with the factories.
- Ensuring products are in agreement with business strategy.
- Support production and quality teams whenever needed to guarantee the delivery of the products as designed.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in fashion and fashion design certificate from international fashion institute.
- Fluent in English & Arabic
- Females preferred
- Relevant experience in Fashion Design and Retail
- Experience in womens swimwear design is a major plus
- Ability to do sketches by hand along with creation of tech packs for production
- Excellent understanding of Garment Pattern Making & textiles knowledge
- Skills in photoshop/illustrator
