Job Description
- Collaborate with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to lines and create new concepts.
- Draft Technical (Flat) Drawings with the Editing Programs.
- Define the style (cut, cut measurement, fabrics, and Stitches).
- Draft initial sketches for approval.
- Create a technical sheet.
- Create a size chart for the new collection.
- Coordinate new collection with the fashion designer to make practical compromises.
- Coordinate with Fashion Designer the needed (Colors, Styles, and fabrics).
Job Requirements
- Associate’s degree in fashion, technical design, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Faculty Of Applied Arts, or Faculty of Home Economics is preferable.
- Practical experience with software programs like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD.
- Knowledge and experience with patternmaking.
- The ability to justify design &measurement changes.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
