Job Description
- Develop and Execute Sourcing Strategies: Create plans to find and work with manufacturing partners in the retail and fashion industry.
- Market Research: Look into different companies to find ones that match our standards for quality, cost, and sustainability.
- Supplier Evaluation: Check if suppliers can meet our needs in terms of quality, following rules, and how much they can produce.
- Negotiate Contracts: Talk with suppliers to agree on the best prices, quality, and delivery times.
- Build Relationships: Make good connections with suppliers to work well together and improve how we get things from them.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our Design, Production, and Quality Control teams to make sure suppliers make things the way we want.
- Monitor Performance: Keep an eye on how well suppliers are doing and fix any problems that come up.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, or merchandising in the retail or fashion industry.
- Proven track record of developing sourcing strategies and successfully managing supplier relationships.
- Strong understanding of market research techniques and tools.
- Proficiency in negotiating contracts and managing complex supplier agreements.
- Ability to evaluate supplier capabilities against company needs for quality, compliance, and production capacity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
