Job Description
- Plan, implement and oversee overall accounting strategy
- Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Manage month-end and year-end closing
- Monitor and analyze accounting data
- Ensure compliance of all accounting processes to that of the organization’s goals
- Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
- Adhere to proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
- Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities
- Review the accuracy and completion of calculated due receivable and payable balances
- Prepare detailed journal entries and account analyses
- Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred
- 7+ years of experience in the Accounting field
- Previous experience as an Accounting Manager is a must
- Very good English level
- Professional proficiency in written business communication in English and in Arabic
- Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Up to date on current Accounting systems.
