Job Description

  • Plan, implement and oversee overall accounting strategy
  • Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing
  • Monitor and analyze accounting data
  • Ensure compliance of all accounting processes to that of the organization’s goals
  • Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
  • Adhere to proper accounting methods, policies and principles
  • Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
  • Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities 
  • Review the accuracy and completion of calculated due receivable and payable balances
  • Prepare detailed journal entries and account analyses
  • Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in the Accounting field
  • Previous experience as an Accounting Manager is a must
  • Very good English level
  • Professional proficiency in written business communication in English and in Arabic
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Up to date on current Accounting systems.
