Job Description

  • Study design briefs and determine requirements
  • Schedule projects and define budget constraints
  • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
  • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
  • Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
  • Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
  • Work with copywriters and creative director to produce final design
  • Test graphics across various media
  • Amend designs after feedback
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand

Job Requirements

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Educational Background:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Certification or coursework in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  1. Experience:
  • Proven experience as a graphic designer or in a related field (preferably 2-5 years, depending on the role's seniority).
  • A strong portfolio showcasing creative work in various media (print, digital, social, web).
  • Experience working within brand guidelines and understanding brand identity.
  1. Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects).
  • Experience with digital design tools like Figma, Sketch, or similar platforms is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of video editing and motion graphics is a bonus (if relevant).
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles is a plus.
  1. Creativity and Aesthetic Skills:
  • Strong creative flair, originality, and a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to translate ideas into visually appealing designs.
  • Excellent understanding of color theory, typography, and layout techniques.
  1. Communication and Collaboration:
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate design ideas and concepts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teams, including content creators, marketers, and product managers.
  • Comfortable receiving and giving constructive feedback to refine designs.
  1. Time Management and Organizational Skills:
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain design files and ensure project timelines are met.
  1. Adaptability:
  • Ability to adapt designs based on project needs and feedback.
  • Ability to keep up with industry trends and incorporate new design techniques.
  1. Attention to Detail:
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on precision in design execution.
  • Ensuring designs meet all necessary specifications (dimensions, formats, etc.) before final submission.
  1. Problem-Solving:
  • Ability to address design challenges creatively, ensuring a smooth design process from concept to completion.
  1. Understanding of Marketing Principles (Optional):
  • Basic understanding of marketing principles and how design plays a role in branding, advertising, and user engagement.
