Job Description
- Coordinate with suppliers and freight forwarders & to ensure orders are delivered on time to customers.
- Prepare shipping documents as per the sales order and inform the customers to arrange collection.
- Prepare customs clearance documentation (COO, Legalization of shipping documents if required)
- Prepares necessary documentation for bank submission if required.
- Must have extensive knowledge and experience in the customs rules & regulation.
- Must have extensive knowledge of shipping terms & condition e.g. ex-works, DDP etc.
- Submit Weekly Shipment report to SCM for all orders delayed and what actions are taken to ensure material is delivered as early as possible.
- Coordinating with different suppliers for expediting the delivery and shipments.
- To make sure all shipments are delivered on time to customer.
- To be the key link between Sales / Suppliers / Customers / Stores / Shipping to ensure the order is executed smoothly and all department performs their tasks on time.
Job Requirements
Educational Background
- B.Sc. Degree from a reputable university
- Effective English language written and oral is a must
- Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word-Excel- PowerPoint- Teams)
Job-related Skills
- Expert knowledge and understanding of manufacturing, distribution, supply chain business issues.
- Legal know how about logistics/import rules
Administrative Skills
- Able to create effective presentations in time constrained environment.
- Able to organize and prioritize work in a multi-tasking environment.
- Able to meet deadlines, follow through on commitments, and take corrective action where appropriate.
Interpersonal Skills
- Strong self-motivation
- Effective written, oral and presentation skills
