Job Description
- Prepare, oversee, manage projects, schedule and continuously monitor actual time to ensure timely completion.
- Prepare, oversee, manage projects, schedule and continuously monitor actual expenses to ensure they fall within appropriate allocations.
- Provide project controls management, including baseline schedule development and management, performance status and reporting, baseline change control, risk management, earned value management guidance and tools.
- Consult with management to set project specifications timeline and estimated cost.
- Proactively identify, communicate and resolve variances scope and pricing variances; establishing a procedural framework for preparing, reporting and reconciling variances.
- Advice and consult on the application of effective planning techniques and controls (earned value, cost and schedule variance, estimates at completion, critical path analysis).
- Monitor and control program compliance in respect of the projects contractual obligations.
- Setup detailed deliverable plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities at projects.
- Ensure that project controls processes are consistently applied across the project.
- Ensuring the Project controls team produces weekly/ monthly reports in line with the project and company reporting calendar, providing details on progress, actual, forecast, and explanation of variances.
- To support the project managers with progress reporting including schedule updates, forecast to complete, variance identification and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop a reporting system for yearly, quarterly and monthly review that would allow management to get orientated to result as required and monitor progress at project sites efficiently
Job Requirements
- Not less than 15 years of experience in cost control and budgeting or planning (preferable cost control and budgeting).
- Developer or PMC (project management consultant) background.
- Strong technical background in cost control and budgeting and has managed working teams before.
- Understanding of the project life cycle and the planning process and its influence on the project budgets.
- PMP certified is a plus.
- Professional in MS office especially MS Excel.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- MBA, Project Management Certificate, and Project risk management will be a plus.
- Strategic planning, strong reporting, and analytical skills.
- Excellent in using Primavera.
