Job Description
- Manage the procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and spare parts.
- Preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating purchase terms and conditions.
- Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate to achieve cost-effective purchasing.
- Recommend the best freight forwarder/shipping lines based on historical performance, negotiating prices and conditions
- Follow up with the freight forwarders/shipping lines for freight quotations and price lists for import shipments
- Review and follow up on shipments’ documents with the clearance agent
- Develop and maintain logistics/supply chain procedures and task tracking
