Job Description

SAP Administrator is a multi-task position for relatively smaller O&M site to perform material Forecasting and receipt, SAP work, Logistic support & store Management and recovery of vehicle

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

SAP Development and Maintenance Function:-
• Administration of the software application consists of SAP, including; provision of user’s support, modification of report formats, modification of workflows, and enhancement of functionalities and applications
• Regularly meet with Engineers, Shift supervisor and technicians to collate usage feedback and identify any specific additional requirements
• Provide training, support and guidance on SAP, especially for newly developed applications and functionalities on the outcome of any configuration changes
• Implement appropriate changes in the system configuration and programming scripts to fulfil any changes in the Clients’ needs or requirements
•Assist the O&M section in understanding the maintenance demand, as defined within the SAP , by providing regular preventative/corrective maintenance demand reports into the sections.

Material Planning and Forecasting Functions:-
• Manage inventory for the APM Site
• Forecast material requirement for APM maintenance
• Assist the SDC Manager with Material Management issues
• Transport material in and out of location

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

The suitable candidate needs to have prior exposure / education in Stores management and Maintenance information System

REQUIREMENTS:

Ideally a degree holder or high diploma of post-secondary education in engineering, science or a related discipline
A minimum of 2 years inventory management experience, preferably in the rail,
transport, auto, heavy engineering or similar industries
Minimum 3 years relevant work experience in design, configuration and administration of computer based Maintenance Information Systems (MIS). Prior exposure to a project environment is desirable.
