Job Description
- Manage the extrusion process for gasket production, ensuring precise dimensional and quality control.
- Oversee the welding of gaskets, optimizing parameters for durability and performance.
- Troubleshoot issues related to extrusion or welding equipment and processes.
- Collaborate with the quality team to implement and monitor product specifications.
- Perform regular maintenance and calibration of extrusion and welding machinery.
- Analyze production data to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
- Train and guide operators and technicians on best practices for gasket extrusion and welding.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Plan and execute the extrusion process for decorative strips, ensuring high visual and structural quality.
- Optimize machine settings and material selection for consistent product appearance and performance.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for decoration strip production.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial, or Polymer Engineering (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in plastic extrusion, preferably in gasket production.
- Knowledge of welding techniques for flexible materials.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with process optimization tools (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
