Job Description
- Supervise and manage the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage general ledger functions, including monthly closing, reconciliation, and adjustment processes.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to improve efficiency and optimize financial performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Review accounts payable and receivable, ensuring that payments are processed on time and credit risks are minimized.
- Analyze financial performance and recommend improvements or adjustments to management.
- Review expenses and identify cost reduction opportunities.
- Monitor cash flow and ensure optimal liquidity management.
- Evaluate and approve departmental plans and forecasted financial plans from Treasury and Accounts Payable.
- May perform other duties as requested not specifically addressed in this document.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or relevant degree.
- 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and tax regulations.
