Job Overview

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in financial reporting, tax compliance, and cost management. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial records and efficient accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities.
Ensure tax compliance (VAT, Zakat, and corporate tax regulations).
Reconcile bank accounts and financial transactions.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives.
Support financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
Implement financial best practices and accounting policies.
Work with ERP systems and accounting software for reporting accuracy.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CMA is a plus).
5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in IT or service-based industries.
Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, and financial reporting.
Experience with ERP accounting systems and financial tools.
Attention to detail and strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
