Sheet Metal Production Engineer - Borg El Arab

The sheet metal production engineer will join our sheet metal production team at the factory. The sheet metal department production team is responsible for:

• Producing sheet metal products according to manufacturing orders received.
• Creating a production plan to deliver the required products within the required timelines.
• Communicating continuously and effectively with the different departments (purchasing, sales, etc.) to follow-up the implementation of the production plan and delivery within the required timelines.
• Revisions of the received drawings to determine their manufacturability.
• Communicating and resolving any issues with the technical design team.
• Monitoring and improving productivity of the workshops.
• Studying and Proposing ways to improve quality standards and manufacturing processes.
• Ensuring production follows and achieves quality standards.

The sheet metal production engineer’s duties will be:

• Preparing a production plan according to manufacturing priorities.
• Preparing and releasing work orders to the workshops based on received manufacturing orders.
• Submitting purchasing requests in a timely manner to the purchasing department based on material needs.
• Supervising and overseeing the implementation of the production plan with workshop supervisors.
• Solving workshop problems with supervisors and overseeing the implementation of those solutions.
• Preparing and submitting periodical production reports to the plant manager.
• Preparing and submitting periodical worker evaluations.
• Assisting in preparing training needs for workshop workers.
