Job Description
- Manage the oversight of materials, information, and finances as they move in a process from suppliers to manufacturer and consumers.
- Involves in coordinating and integrating these flows (material flow, information flow, and money flow) both within and among companies.
- Confer with planning manager to forecast the demand and create supply plans that ensure availability of material.
- Monitor Forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities.
- Analyse inventory to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste and optimize customer services.
- Enhance inventory management supporting the successful implementation of JIT stock model
- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors or freight forwarders.
- Create the company’s supply chain strategy
- Monitor logistics to make sure they run smoothly
- Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
Job Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes
- Strong communication skills
- Working experience of relevant software (e.g. SAP MM) is Must
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or similar field
- Previous experience as a supply chain manager or in a similar field (Paper / Packing …..)
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce
