About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Site Engineer with 5-8 years of experience in the construction field, specifically in infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in MEP systems, firefighting systems, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, design drawings, and MS Office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other MEP systems.
- Ensure all mechanical works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
- Review and interpret design drawings, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, and contractors to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure the quality of workmanship and materials.
- Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Maintain daily progress reports, inspection reports, and as-built drawings.
- Use MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation, reporting, and presentations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the site team and subcontractors.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to mechanical systems during construction.
- Utilize Revit, AutoCAD, and other relevant software tools to review and modify drawings as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest software advancements and industry trends.
- Oversee the installation and testing of firefighting systems, including sprinklers, pumps, and alarms.
- Ensure firefighting systems comply with design specifications and safety standards.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 5-8 years of experience as a Mechanical Site Engineer in infrastructure or construction projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Office .
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with design standards, construction codes, and regulations.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in reviewing drawings and supervising site work.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with team members
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, tunnels, or utilities.
- Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes.
- Familiarity with project management tools and software.
