Job Description
We are a small SAAS start-up with big ambitions. In a small team of 5, you will be our fourth software engineer. You will be responsible for developing new features and design changes in our product DXPR Builder.
As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for manual and automated testing of the DXPR web content builder tool to ensure product quality and usability. Design and develop test cases, and leverage automated testing frameworks to automate testing to improve software quality and increase the speed of delivery. Work closely with the Product and Development teams to understand scope, functionality, and software design to develop comprehensive test coverage and maintain testing metrics and report status.
Role and Resposibilites
- Work closely with the product and development team to understand the product features, user stories, and acceptance criteria to develop test cases and ensure adequate test coverage
- Work with automation developers to develop, maintain and execute automated system and regression test suites
- Creating Test Cases (Test Scripts) using Selenium Webdriver, Java, and TestNG Annotation
- Debugging and Running Tests
- Analyzing Test Results
- Follow standardized team processes and guidelines
- Report work progress in Daily Scrum meetings
Job Requirements
- Strong experience in AGILE Testing Processes, Requirement Analysis, Test Design, Test Execution, Test Reporting, and Bug Tracking.
- Experienced in Functional and UI testing to match the design testing with different users’ roles.
- Experienced in Web application automation using Selenium with Java is a must
- Experienced in working with Automation Framework with Selenium/Maven/TestNG is a must
- Experienced in Page Object Model with Keyword and Data-Driven Concepts
- Experienced in working with GitHub (or equivalent) code repositories
- Experienced in working with AGILE Sprint Teams
- High sense of ownership and responsibility
- Should be eager to learn new skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good command of the English language
Education
- BS in computer science (or equivalent)
Professional experience
- 2 + years of experience testing & QA Automation
