Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced QA Engineer with a strong background in software development and process auditing to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products and the efficiency and effectiveness of our development processes.
By conducting thorough audits and assessments, you will play a key role in identifying areas for improvement and ensuring our processes align with industry standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute software test plans and test cases to ensure software quality and compliance with company standards.
- Conduct regular audits of software development processes, including code reviews, software design, development practices, and deployment procedures.
- Collaborate with development teams to identify root causes of quality issues and process inefficiencies and recommend corrective actions.
- Implement and maintain QA metrics for assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of development processes.
- Develop and enforce QA standards and procedures across the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in the selection and implementation of QA tools and technologies to support testing and process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and present reports on audit findings, quality metrics, and improvement initiatives to management and other stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in software quality assurance and process improvement to continuously enhance our QA practices.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in QA engineering, with a focus on software development process auditing.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) models and agile methodologies.
- Proficiency in coding and scripting languages relevant to QA automation.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with all levels of the organization.
- Certifications in quality assurance (e.g., CSTE, CSQA) or process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) are highly desirable.
