Job Summary:
 

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Project Manager to join our growing Digital Transformation team. In this role, you will manage and lead digital transformation and system integration projects, ensuring successful delivery of solutions that align with organizational goals. You will oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, leveraging Agile and other project management methodologies to drive efficiency and innovation. This role requires a strategic thinker who can balance technical challenges with business objectives, leading cross-functional teams while managing stakeholder expectations.
 

Key Responsibilities:
 

  • Project Planning & Execution:
    Lead end-to-end project management for digital transformation and system integration initiatives. Develop detailed project plans, defining project scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables. Monitor and control project progress, ensuring alignment with business goals and technology requirements.
  • Agile Methodology:
    Apply Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, to ensure rapid and efficient delivery. Conduct sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to facilitate collaboration and continuous improvement. Ensure the team adheres to Agile principles, keeping projects flexible and iterative.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    Work closely with technical teams (developers, architects, analysts) and business stakeholders (operations, marketing, sales) to gather requirements, provide status updates, and ensure all parties are aligned with project goals.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. Manage expectations, resolve issues, and communicate progress to senior management and other relevant parties. Provide regular project reports and updates, highlighting risks, roadblocks, and milestones.
  • Risk & Issue Management:
    Proactively identify risks and issues that could impact the project timeline, scope, or quality. Develop mitigation strategies and work with the team to implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement:
    Evaluate current project management practices and identify areas for improvement. Implement best practices and optimize processes for greater efficiency in digital transformation initiatives.
  • Quality Assurance:
    Ensure high standards of quality and integrity in all projects deliverables. Work with QA teams to develop testing plans and ensure that digital transformation solutions are thoroughly validated before deployment.
  • Vendor and Third-party Management:
    Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers, ensuring that third-party solutions are integrated smoothly and meet the project’s technical and business requirements.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:
 

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
       
    • Master’s degree or Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, ScrumMaster) is a plus.
       
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of experience in managing IT projects, particularly in Digital Transformation and Systems Integration.
       
    • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within scope, ideally in Agile environments.
       
    • Experience working with cross-functional teams, integrating new digital technologies into legacy systems.
       
  • Methodology:
    • Strong understanding and experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
       
    • Familiarity with Waterfall and Hybrid project management approaches is a plus.
       
    • Ability to adapt methodologies to suit the project and team needs, driving continuous delivery and improvement.
       
  • Technical Skills:
    • Understanding of cloud technologies, enterprise systems integration, and digital transformation tools (e.g., CRM, ERP, data platforms, SaaS).
       
    • Experience with tools such as Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project, and other project management or collaboration software.
       
    • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.
       
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
       
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
       
    • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
       
    • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
       
  • Certifications (Preferred but Not Required):
    • PMP (Project Management Professional)
       
    • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
       
    • ITIL or other relevant IT certifications.
