Join Our Team as a Senior Software Tester!
Are you ready for a challenge that unleashes your potential? This is a full-time on-site role for a senior tester at Bakkasoft Systems .
As a Senior Software Automation Tester, you will have to oversee all aspects of software and product testing within the company. This may include executing test cases, identifying and reporting defects, and drawing up test documents. The role will involve conducting manual testing and designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. collaborate with the development team and analyze test results to provide feedback and ensure high-quality software products .
Job Requirements
Responsibilities :
- Define and develop automation strategies in collaboration with stakeholders and identify test scenarios suitable for automation.
- Designing and developing test plans and test cases based on functional and nonfunctional requirements for websites, back-end APIs, services, and mobile applications.
- Actively contribute to all levels of manual and automated testing.
- Ensure test coverage, & requirements validation.
- Automation script development (Write, debug, and maintain automated test scripts to validate software functionality).
- Develop and execute performance and load tests to assess the scalability and responsiveness of software applications. Identify performance bottlenecks and suggest optimizations to improve application performance.
- Writing clear and concise bug reports and scenarios to ensure clear communication with the software developer and sharing test results to the technical manager & stakeholders.
Requirements :
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in software testing.
- Proven experience as a software tester or similar role.
- To have the ability to test each of the Web Services - Web applications and websites - Mobile applications – APIs – Databases.
- Experience in using API testing tools (Postman is preferred)
- Experience in performance testing.
- Strong knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Experience with reviewing requirements and developing testing artifacts.
- Experience in executing manual and automated test cases.
- Positive attitude, attention to detail and ability to analyze complex systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Good knowledge of various QA Frameworks and Tools.
- Familiar with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- ISTQB certification or relevant certification in software testing is plus.
