Job Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Store Development: Builds and maintains the entire Shopify store, handling both frontend (themes, UI, user experience) with Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and backend (custom apps, API integrations) for payments, shipping, and inventory.
- Shopify Ecosystem Expert: Leverages deep knowledge of Shopify's APIs and app development to extend platform capabilities and deliver highly customized solutions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Expertise in Shopify's ecosystem: Master Liquid for theme development, use Shopify APIs for complex integrations, and build custom Shopify apps.
- Strong front-end skills: Proficient in HTML, CSS (Sass), and modern JavaScript, often with React/Vue, and focused on performance.
- Solid back-end and dev practices: Competent in a server-side language (Node.js, Ruby on Rails) for custom logic, adept with Git, and skilled in problem-solving and e-commerce best practices.
