Job Description
| Responsible for development of foreign purchasing of packaging materials |
| Audits and technically evaluates packaging suppliers for imported raw materials. |
| Responsible for researching new packaging suppliers, materials and technologies |
| Follows up on printing for packaging art works and specifications. |
| Seeks reliable vendors or suppliers to provide high quality goods at reasonable prices. |
| Negotiates prices and contracts for any foreign purchase |
| Reviews technical specifications for raw materials. |
| Determines quantity and timing of deliveries |
| Works closely with innovation team. |
| Plans, manages and controls raw material supply cycle Including MRP (Materials requirements planning). |
| Plans and aligns foreign suppliers on raw material to optimize the stock level. |
| Manages operation of raw materials availability by leading and following up the processes of order requisition, purchase order confirmation by the supplier, planned material production, planned material delivery, clearance, and receipt at warehouses. |
| Tracks and reports supplier reliability KPIs to reflect on safety stock and supplier assessment, to be used for supplier development and material volume allocation. |
| Leads all raw material change tasks (ordering, material forecast, etc.) . |
| Optimizes the raw material stock level that yields annual productivity on warehouses. |
| Compiles information, such as production rates and progress |
| Confirms the availability of all raw materials especially materials required for export orders. |
| Applying the company policies and work for achieving its goals according to the ethics, rules & regulations. |
| Performing any other task assigned by the direct manager related to the field of work. |
Job Requirements
- Bachelor degree (Science / Vet / Pharmaceutical science).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven work experience as an Intelligence Analyst or similar role
- Excellent computer skills (MS office and internet browsing).
- ERP system experience is must.
- Excellent English & Arabic (written & spoken).
- 3 - 5 years’ experience on supply chain planning.
